One of the most commonly asked questions I get from people is "how many drops do I use?"
First of all, I want to remind you that once upon a time I was just like you - A beginner!
There is not going to be any explosion or adverse reaction if you pop too many drops in here or there, but you certainly don't want to overdo it! Our oils are very pure and therefore strong. You also don't want to use more than you need to so your oils last you as long as possible!
How many drops in your diffuser?
When it comes to using your diffuser I recommend the following
A Babies room - 1-2 drops of essential oil in total
In a Child's room 3 - 4 drops of essential oil in total
In an Adults room - 4 - 6 drops of essential oil in total
When using oils with children or with pets in the room I always recommend that there is a door open or pets can remove themselves if they don't like it. (Contact me if you would like more info on oils with pets) When it comes to how many drops of each essential oil to use at a time ...... you need to trust yourself and experiment! You can have one oil or 4 oils, it's totally up to you! Start with a less is more approach, build based on your own preferences.
There is no "getting it wrong" you can simply tip it out and start again if you accidentally create something you don't like! * BONUS DIFFUSING TIP - Take the caps of your essential oil bottles you are thinking of blending together and hold them in one hand. Take a few inhalations and see if you like them together before committing to the blend.
How many drops in your roller bottle?
Creating a roller bottle of your favourite blends is super handy and will mean that you reach for your oils even more.
It makes them quick to use and is non-messy!
When creating our own personal roller blends it important to get the right dilution for the age of the user.
Add your essential Oils to the roller bottle first and then top up with a fractionated coconut oil.
